Thoughts on the Secret

The secret, like any new endeavor such as a fitness lifestyle, is not done in a day, weeks, or years...its a complete change in your mental lifestyle, it’s a constant state of well-being and feeling good.  Just like in fitness lifestyle to where if a person is wanting to  lose 50lbs of fat or gain 15 lbs of muscle there has to be some significant changes in habits and practices to get those results. A person cannot have a poor nutritious diet or occasionally go to the gym to merit the results. They have to be dedicated to the necessary practices that it takes to acquire those results. Is it really any different in training the mind to be in a constant state of gratitude and focus upon the things we wish to materialize? You have to train the body to the right frequency in eating and training for those results so why not in the mind as well? Sadly, in this world we live in, it seems at times we have to look for positives or constantly seek out positives in order not to be influenced by all the negatives. So thus in the mind, it has to be trained to the right frequency. This is a challenge because now you have to decide on what you will devote your time, thoughts, and energy too and what type of influences are you are going to allow into your life.  Are your influences conducive to your vibration?  It involves surrounding your life and thinking with concepts of feeling good, good thoughts, and a decision to be happy. It involves what type of mental environment you allow your mind to be in. If it is cluttered with all the influences of modern media and entertainment then your mind will have mixed influences and direction upon the path you wish to take it. It involves attracting good like minded people into your life that feel the same and weeding out those that are not conducive to your desired results. Its all a constant process, a lifestyle that can and will bring about the desired results if you let it.

Take it. Its yours!

“It is not by fate, nor by destiny, nor by someone’s “plan” for you that determines your life direction. It is by your thoughts, your will, your drive, your actions, and your desire alone to set your life in the direction you wish to go. Go after it and it will be yours.”-Timothy R Wheeler

The mixed result.

I know there are many critics out there that may make mention of how such thoughts, quotes, or ideas are wild or silly. Obviously they don’t think in the same wavelength nor grasp a very crucial understanding of life. They see the immediate physical reality before them, they see material possessions, their jobs, their income, their possessions, and maybe even a person on Sunday that does their spiritual thinking for them, they watch the television and the mind controlling media/entertainment business that has this world wrapped around the thoughts and ideas that only keep people distracted from their true potential. All people are capable of focusing on what they set to achieve, but the distractive influences allow that focus to be scattered…or mixed. The end result is that our results are mixed or scattered.

Alignment

When are our every thought, action, practice, habit are aligned with that of what we seek to achieve. When we act in alignment, everything comes natural to us. There is no effort involved when we are driven by own our internal desire or what is also known as the heart. It is there where the action is effortless, the energy keeps drawing in, and the creative process flows.

What you think about...you bring about...

It is my observation that most people are in a state of allowing. They get up every morning, maybe turn on the morning news or read the newspaper and allow this world to project the news (and mostly bad at that) into our minds and thoughts. So when we hear about earthquakes, food shortages, and political scandals, what kind of thoughts do such images merit? They’re obviously not good thoughts, so why do we put ourselves through it day in and day out?  Our thoughts are just as powerful as any bolt of electricity like any atom…even though unseen to the naked eye, they are there and are part of our physical and psychological makeup. As James Allen put it…”our thoughts become things.” What you think about you bring about. So where is your focus? Where do you direct your thoughts?
Everyday is filled with choice, decisions on how we are to think, feel, and then act. Before the act, is the thought that comes before it. You will go where your thoughts take you.

An awakening

Luke 4:24
"I tell you the truth," he (Jesus) continued, "no prophet is accepted in his hometown.
Although the truth has been in front of me for a long time as I’ve known this scripture all too well even in my teens, I’m not one to quote scripture anymore but this statement rings true still not only for myself but for one of my dear friends as well. Not that we are prophets but our vision differs from that of the people in this town. The feeling of belonging, the need for belonging and the sense of unwelcome in this big small town I live in. This area, place is simply not in sync to my vibration, my thoughts, hopes, or aspirations. Even looking at the job market or career opportunities there is simply nothing of interest here, absolutely nothing that I feel I fit into. If you are in the medical field or legal field than this a great place to be. I have truly longed to leave this town for so long but have been mistakenly opposing my vibration given certain obligations and peer-viewed expectations.   Many are grateful to be here and that is fine for those. I simply refuse to accept the life that permeates from my initial surroundings. But for some that want to move forward with their lives beyond this reality in front of us. There is so much in this world worth exploring, people to meet, and places to see. There is so much more beyond those horizons and boundaries of fear. Why slave to an environment that does nothing for you in return? Its the perspective as it seems. I feel there is more to discover. As we progress (hopefully progress), we find that life is about self-discovery and even some of the insignificant changes can merit growth and new perspectives. Sometimes we simply need a jolt to awaken the vision of new horizons around us or what the possibilities are. I would say that jolt has come. As Hicks says, “Waking up to who YOU are” and not waking up to what your parents, friends, coworkers or even your living environment dictates. I look ahead, beyond the short term, focused on the habits, practices and values, “sure of the value, eager for the experience, knowledgeable of the guidance and certain of the outcome.”Abraham

No Limits-2011

If you control your thoughts…you control your mind…if you control your mind then you control your actions…if you control your actions then you control your world. You are in control! The greatest lies and fallacies in this world are that life happens and there is nothing you can do about it or that life sucks. I’m here to declare that this far beyond the truth. That we have been lied too. Life has so much more to offer when we learn to let go of what may seem right or important to us and engage in the acts and practices that are congruent to our true self. We as a people and as a society have allowed the external components to take control of our thinking and thus our lives. Have you ever stood back and looked at the movement of the world and in the way people seem to go about their business and daily lives and except what is put in front of them as their only reality? When I say only reality, I mean this as the one they have allowed to be placed before his or herself. The truth is you have the control and power and it has been in front of you the entire time. Simply no one has told you about it or has been able to describe it in such a fashion. We are all creators, teachers, gurus, masterminds, and leaders. At the very least the potential is there and most humans are not acting to their full potential.
I say this and declare 2011 a year of no limits for myself, because for many years now I have allowed my self-perceived limits to deter and not allow me to venture into my passions and beliefs, one of which involves a life outside of my hometown for the past 31 years. I have allowed the daily external factors to distract or disengage me from my passions and interests. The life I have allowed is not that of which is congruent to my vibration. For over a couple of years on facebook, for those that have been my friends on here know I traditionally and for the most part have posted positive material in the efforts to enlighten others, to maybe change an outlook, or simply to put a smile on a face. I have asked nothing in return of this. What this year involves for myself is an effort to take this beyond a social networking site and to develop a career and life of enlightening others. I cannot tell you how it will end but how it will begin: by taking a personal inventory of my habits, practices, and people now that are not congruent to my aspirations or mental health. With that being stated, I will attract, practice, and bring the way that will bring about a life that fulfills my aspirations and not of others. I look to connect with those around the world with similar goals and thoughts in order to assist them as well as assist me. 2011 is about getting healthy and being the change.
